So life has been quite a whirlwind lately, bouncing from a wedding in Port Townsend, to a family reunion in Vancouver, to an impromptu family reunion held in the ICU waiting room in Seattle where we anxiously prayed for my mother-in-law (now well on her way to recovery, thankfully), to a black tie wedding in LA, to another visit to the hospital in Seattle. I'm exhausted and drained physically, emotionally, and mentally. Oh yeah, and we're painting our living room this week. It's currently a deep glossy red, and so we needed to sand first. There was red dust EVERYWHERE, including up my nose.
But, in the midst of this, my business cards arrived at work! Call me crazy, but this was a milestone for me. :) I've now joined the ranks of those who can smoothly pull out their wallet, and say with an air of importance, "oh, let me give you my card..."

Sara - goodness!! I'm exhausted just reading your quick message. But yay for your first business card! I was the same way when mine came a few weeks ago. Next time you're in the area we'll exchange cards. :)
